This is the new blog for Moddame The Label. If you've followed the online boutique before, you can still read up on the past blogs at: http://www.moddame.blogspot.com.
After weeks of planning and putting together themes for the look book / promotional campaign, the day finally came when it was all put to use. The Moddame Fall 2014 Collection was shot at my loft in South Gate, California. When the BF and I first moved in, I thought it would be a great place for a photo shoot, and it was.
To bring Moddame to life, we created a mix of modern, comfort, and casual setting upstairs. We found these amazing leather chaises on craigslist that added elegance and chic. Downstairs, we wanted to give Moddame more of an edgy look by using alcohol bottles, vintage props, and tying it all together with a clean white light.
We were lucky to have been able work with the talented MUA, Blair Levinthal www.makeupbyblair.com. She did an amazing job on the makeup for each set. The beautiful model was Isabelle Ann, who had an adorable English accent! She had amazing hair, great model poses, and was very easy to work with. Calvin Lim, our photographer from www.calvinlimphotography.com dialed in perfect lighting in every set. I'm confident in his work and can't wait to see the final look book / promotional campaign. It's unimaginable how much work goes into one photo shoot.

"Moddame the label, aims to satisfy the edgy, trendsetter, modern day woman. From comfortable and casual, to trending and bold, Moddame knows that every modern day woman, is all the above."
With Isabelle and Blair! Good work girls!
Had to take a selfie to look back at! The lazy eye just had to ruin it.
The photo shoot was a great success and brings the collection that much closer to completion, yet there is so much more left to do. This week is all about finalizing patterns and markings for production. There is one month left to complete production and lots of fabric to be cut. Come back next week to see the final look book, place your pre-orders, spread the word, and love the collection.
